Look, Kymber, there's a gnome coming out of my cherry tree :)

There is a two inch tall green bean plant in the back yard.  It's supposed to go down to 34 degrees on Monday night.  I'm wondering if we will get another
frost before it's over with.

Had a visitor this morning.  This beauty stops by all the time to take a bath.

It's been a rough week.  My father, who lived in Germany, passed away last Sunday night.  He was buried yesterday, on his birthday.  It really hit home last night when that gadget on Facebook announced that it was his birthday yesterday, telling me to send my birthday wishes and he's gone.  It's really sad.  Many things were left unsaid and he died alone in a hospital after being ill for many years.  May he rest in peace.

  2. teeheehee - that gnome is awesome honey! and so is your beautiful morning dove - we have about 7 in a group that visit daily!

i am sorry to hear that your father passed...hopefully now he is in a peaceful place. i am sorry that many things were left unsaid - try and say those things in your prayers over the next few nights. it will leave you feeling less unsettled.

  3. I send my sympathy for the loss of your dad...regrets are tough and I still deal with them over Mike's death and things I never said or stuff that I let bug me that really were insignificant. I think we all wish we had done things differently when someone we loved dies...

Doves are my favorite bird...their cooing is so calming.

  4. So sorry to hear of your dad passing. It must have been a shock to get the birthday reminder. One of my friends lost a brother before Christmas. He left her his camera. She took some spring photos with it, and posted them on Facebook. A message came from his Facebook account that HE had uploaded the spring photos. She was spooked at first, but then she felt that maybe it was him from the other side trying to show his approval.

There is so much we don't understand. I think Kymber is right. Say what was left unsaid in your prayers. It will bring healing.

    Love your morning dove :-)

I know it is only the ramblings and rants of one woman, but I would love to hear from you.
