Things are getting back to normal

I spent a lovely day with my Mom before going to work yesterday.  She fixed us brussel sprouts sautéed in onions and garlic with new potatoes….it was delicious!!  Poor Mom….she spent hours listening to my rants and raves.  I also had a great nights sleep last night!  Today I feel awesome!!

This morning I went to Eden’s Market to pick up some soap.  Then off to fuel up the Tundra while the petro is at 2.47 a gallon.  Hopefully this will be the last time to get it filled up.

I have a love/hate relationship with this truck.  I love to drive it.  The power is amazing….I almost got a speeding ticket the other day.  I hate to fill it up with fuel.  It took almost 50 bucks filled it up this morning…that hurt!  Oh well, it won’t be for much longer.

I’m waiting for a part to fix the tail gate.  Then next week the bumper will be repaired and it will get a good cleaning.  By the end of next week it will be bye, bye Tundra. :(  I wish I could keep it, it sure would help me in the winter if it snows like it did this past one, but she has to go away.

Tomorrow I have to finish a report of a commercial inspection that I took care of on Wednesday.  I’ve cut down the photos to a manageable amount, so that I won’t have to go through a 150 plus photos like I usually do.  This will cut down the amount of time that it takes to finish my report.

I had a craving for some meat and I bought half of a chicken at Buckland Farm Market last week.  .  Three nights ago I went ahead and cooked it.  I was really disappointed…it really wasn’t a big deal. I also didn’t feel all that great afterwards.  It will probably be a long time before I buy any again.  I think I’ll stick to the veggies instead.

Still no signs of the reoccurring boils.  It’s pretty amazing.  The scars are almost gone too. I doubt that they will go away completely but so far I’m really pleased.  I can’t believe that I haven’t eaten any processed food all this time, not even canned food.  I haven’t even been tempted even though stopping at Mc Donald's or Burger King was almost a nightly ritual.  The best thing from all this is, no more boils and I feel awesome!

  1. So does she cook the potatoes in with the brussel sprouts or separately? Sounds like a good meal...Take care, Sheila

I know it is only the ramblings and rants of one woman, but I would love to hear from you.
